Scott W. Michael

Scott W. Michael is an internationally recognized author, underwater photographer and marine biology researcher specializing in coral reef fishes and their environments.

Scott Michael writes frequently for Aquarium Fish International Magazine, Coral/Koralle Magazine and is a partner in the dive-oriented Coral Realm website.

He lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with his wife and dive partner Janine Cairns-Michael, herself an accomplished underwater photographer.

In their spare time, Scott and Janine photograph grizzly bears on the Katmai Peninsula of Alaska and lead small groups of photographers on trips to that area.
